Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about our mobile tire services, booking, preparing your vehicle and roadside help.

Mobile Tire Service
How does mobile tire service work?
You request a service, share your vehicle and location details, and our team contacts you to confirm. The work is then done at your chosen location rather than at a shop.
Where can the service take place?
Driveways, workplace parking lots and other flat, safe locations with enough room around the vehicle. Some underground garages and busy streets are not suitable.
Is mobile tire service the same quality as a shop?
The core steps — removing, mounting, balancing and installing — are the same. The difference is where the work happens. Learn about mobile tire installation
Tire Changes and Installation
What's the difference between an on-rim and off-rim tire change?
On-rim means your tires are already mounted on wheels and the wheels are swapped. Off-rim means tires are removed from and mounted on your existing wheels, then balanced. Learn about mobile tire change
Can you install tires I bought online?
Yes. Confirm the size matches your vehicle and have the tires at the service location. Learn about new tire installation
Why do new tires need balancing?
Small weight differences in a tire and wheel can cause vibration. Balancing evens them out. Learn about wheel balancing
How often should tires be rotated?
Many manufacturers suggest around every 8,000–12,000 km, but follow your owner's manual. Learn about tire rotation
Tire Repairs
Can every punctured tire be repaired?
No. Punctures in the sidewall or shoulder, large holes and tires driven flat usually need replacement. Learn about tire puncture repair
Should I pull out a nail from my tire?
Leave it in place. It may be slowing the leak until the tire can be inspected.
What causes slow leaks?
Small punctures, valve stem problems and corrosion where the tire meets the rim are common causes. Learn about mobile tire repair
Seasonal and Winter Tires
When should I put winter tires on?
Many drivers switch once temperatures regularly drop to about 7°C, before the first major snowfall. Learn about winter tire changeover
When should I switch back in spring?
Once temperatures consistently stay above about 7°C, switching back helps reduce winter tire wear. Learn about seasonal tire swap
Why does my tire pressure drop in winter?
Cold air contracts, lowering pressure by roughly 1 PSI for every 5–6°C drop. Learn about tire pressure check
Booking and Vehicle Preparation
Is my online booking confirmed right away?
No. Online submissions are appointment requests. Your appointment is confirmed once our team contacts you. Book a service
What should I have ready?
Vehicle year, make and model, tire size, whether tires are on rims, your wheel lock key, and a flat area to park.
Do I need to be present?
Someone needs to provide vehicle access and keys. We'll discuss arrangements when confirming.
Roadside Assistance
What roadside help do you offer?
Tire-related help including flat tires, spare tire changes and puncture repairs, plus battery boosts. We do not provide towing. Learn about roadside assistance
Are you available 24/7?
Availability depends on location and scheduling. Call to check whether help is available.
Will a boost fix my battery?
A boost can start your engine but won't fix a failing battery. Have it tested afterward. Learn about battery boost
How far can I drive on a temporary spare?
Check the spare's label and owner's manual — compact spares are for short distances at reduced speeds. Learn about spare tire change
