Tire-Related Roadside Assistance
Our roadside service is centred on the problems we are equipped for: flat tires, tire damage, spare tire changes and battery boosts. We do not offer towing, fuel delivery or mechanical repairs.
Flat Tire Situations
Depending on the damage, a flat may be handled with a spare tire change, an on-site inspection or a repair where the tire is suitable. See our Flat Tire Repair page for what affects repairability.
Spare Tire Changes
If your vehicle carries a usable spare, we can install it so you can move to a safe place. Remember that compact spares are temporary and have speed and distance limits.
Battery Boost Requests
When your vehicle will not start because of a discharged battery, you can request a battery boost. A boost does not fix a failing battery, so plan to have it tested afterward.
How to Request Roadside Help
Calling is the quickest way to reach us. Please have ready:
- Your exact location, including nearby cross streets or landmarks.
- Vehicle year, make, model and colour.
- What happened — flat tire, damaged tire or no-start.
- Whether you have a spare tire and wheel lock key.
Safety When Stopped Roadside
Pull as far from traffic as possible, turn on hazard lights and use reflective triangles if you have them. On a highway, it is often safer to wait behind a barrier than inside the vehicle. If you are in danger, call 911 first. Assistance is subject to availability, and response times are not guaranteed.
